01 ranger PCV location

Its here. Turn the PCV valve counter clockwise 1/4 turn to unlock it from the valve cover.  The type pictured is a "coolant heated" PCV valve.

01 Ranger brake pad drag reduction clips

Drag reduction clips keep the pads separated from the rotor while driving.  This keeps the pads from "dragging" or bouncing on to the rotor making noise or adding additional wear.  See the red arrows in the diagram below.

It's mounted underneath the dash just to the right of the steering column, in the area above the gas pedal.
